Purpose:
    Update
Description:
    Updated the auto tools to the newest versions. The version
    information is now included in the configure.in file in the "AC_INIT"
    macro. Don't forget to change this information when you do a new
    release.

    Note: If you make a change to the configure.in file, you must
    regenerate this file on a system with the newest libtools. Right now,
    that's Dangermouse and Sleipnir. Eirene will be upgraded once HDF5
    Lite has been updated...
