_ This file is a copy of the 1.8 version of this file. I 
copied the 1.8 version of the file because I am making 
changes in the description of external links. Before 
this date, the Groups chapter held work that I did in 
early 2011. I was not able to complete that work and 
probably will not be able to complete the work any 
time soon. See the file called 
09_GroupsAndLinks.html/UG/09_Groups.html for 
the work I did in early 2011.
