Description:
In n-bit and scale-offset sections:
Corrected H5_SO_* to H5Z_SO_*.
Since these sections discuss strictly 1.8 features,
modified examples to use functions with 1.8 syntax.
Made correlated adjustments for clarity.
-- These changes close Bugzilla entry 1633.
Corrected or removed dangling cross-references.
Minor copy edits.
