Purpose:
    Fix
Description:
    Fixed the install-doc feature.
Solution:
    It manually tests if the appropriate doc directory is there. If not,
    then it mkdir's it and proceeds to the subdirectory installs.
Platforms tested:
    Linux, Solaris
