[svn-r27061] Description:
Bring r26191 from trunk to 1.8 branch:
Track the min & max keys for a v2 B-tree, so it can more efficiently
determine if a key is present in the B-tree.
Tested on:
MacOSX/64 10.10.3 (amazon) w/serial & parallel
