[svn-r16417] Description:
	Bring r16416 from revise_chunks branch to trunk:

	Bring closer to standard standalone test format, add checks for using
the latest file format and close dataset ID leaked.

Tested on:
	FreeBSD/32 6.3 (duty)
	(too minor to require h5committest)
