[svn-r3747] Purpose:
Portability tweaks
Description:
Certain features (signal for FPE, some assertions, etc) used in testing
are not available in certain non-UNIX platforms.
Solution:
Ifdef'd out the test code on the platforms which don't have that support.
Platforms tested:
FreeBSD 4.3 (hawkwind)
