Bring r21932 & r21934 from trunk to 1.8 branch:

Correct misnamed FUNC_ENTER macro.
r21934:
Remove some leftover uses of the __FUNCTION__ macro, replacing them with
FUNC macro, as used everywhere else.

Mac OSX/64 10.7.3 (amazon) w/debug & production
